Payphone Housing Sub-assemblies:
Standard Chrome Parts:
Vault Door , Face Plate , Coin Return Lever , Cradle, Hookswitch Lever and Coin Return are all chrome. The Knight Guardian Face Plate can be substituted for the Face Plate where added security is needed. Note the much smaller buttons on the Knight Guardian Faceplate as compared to the Standard Face Plate.
Lexan Hookdial Assembly:
The Protel hookdial assembly is available, and is made of virtually indestructible Lexan.
Upper Housing Lock:
This lock comes with one key. You can order Medeco or Abloy locks. Both are rekeyable should you decide to change the code.
Cash Box Lock:
This lock comes with a set of two keys. You can order Medeco or Abloy locks. Both are rekeyable should you decide to change the code.
Coin Mechanism and Refunding Assembly:
Coin Mechanism and Refund chute will provide years of reliable service.
Coin-Jamless Trigger Switch:
Our Coin-Jamless trigger switch is designed to virtually eliminate coin jams where the happen most. Extra (double) wide slots provide the space needed to allow coins to drop easily in to the Escrow Hopper.
Relay Assembly:
The Coin-Jamless Trigger Switch , Escrow Hopper and the Relay, together comprise the Relay Assembly.
Lexan Handset:
The handset is manufactured from the same durable Lexan as the Keypad. The lanyard is stainless steel. The standard length is 32" and is also available in 54" length.
Handset Bracket:
The bracket provides for easy repairs in the field as well as secure mounting.
Upper Housing Lock Blocker:
The lock blocker can prevent access to the upper housing should vandals breach the face plate through the key pad. For some locations the Knight Guardian Face Plate will all but eliminate this problem. Neither item is standard, but is available upon request.
T Key and Lower Housing Lock Wrench:
The T Key comes standard and is needed to access the upper housing and vault door. The Wrench is available upon request.
Vault Door:
The Vault Door comes standard in chrome (pictured here from the inside and in black).
Cash Box:
The Cash Box comes with a self locking brass lid and hitch for plastic seals. Once the box is removed from the phone it cannot be opened without breaking the seal. (seals are not included).
Double Gong Ringer:
While this item is not standard, the Double Gong Ringer might be needed where noisy conditions make it difficult to here the standard Piezo ringer.
